After having spent some weeks in the saddle in the mountains in Afghanistan few years back I was sure that the time was ripe for another horse adventure. This time in the mekka of horseriding: Mongolia. As before I went alone, but this time it proved to be a grave mistake. I was bored to death. Riding solo through the seclued taiga was not what I imagined. And painfully slow. So after a week I ened up selling the horse, got myself a motorbike and rode South to the Gobi Desert to get some adrenaline flowing again.
